Virtual Planning Meeting
Program Chairs (PC) and Local Arrangement Coordinators (LAC) this four-part series is for YOU!
We strongly recommend that you to attend all four parts of the Planning Meeting.
You've never been to a Congress Planning Meeting? There's never been a better time to be a newbie! At this meeting you will discover your role as a new Program Chair (PC) or Local Arrangement Coordinator (LAC) and everything that has been developed to help you plan your association’s conference at Congress.
You've attended Congress Planning Meetings in the past? This one will be different. We have put together a series of video recordings to explain the Planning Guide content. We will use our live sessions to answer your questions, open up discussions on virtual and hybrid participation at Congress 2021, and provide a deeper dive into the Organizers Portal and logistical aspects of planning Congress 2021.
ATTENTION PRESIDENTS! We encourage our Congress participating associations to invite your President to register and attend the program (Part 1 and 2) on Tuesday, September 22, 2020. The program will include information on Congress 2021 Contingency Planning as well as Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Decolonization (EDID) information. A program not to be missed!
Who should attend?
For Part 1 and Part 2 we recommend PC's, LAC's and President's of your association should attend.
For Part 3 and Part 4 we recommend PC's and LAC's participate in these two sessions.
Before you attend
We have put together six video recordings to cover what would have been presented at the in-person Planning Meeting. It is highly recommended that you watch these as they will help you make the most of the meetings on September 22 and 24.
