About

When: June 3–4, 2025, during the 94th Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences

Where: George Brown College, Waterfront Campus, Toronto

Join fellow post-secondary leaders from across Canada at the country’s leading academic gathering for this milestone two-day forum that will unite colleges, institutes, and universities to strengthen connections and collaborate on cross-sector solutions to address Canada’s most pressing challenges.

Inspired by this year’s Congress theme Reframing togetherness, the Summit serves as a timely call on the post-secondary sector to rethink shared responsibility and collaborative actions during this era of rapid change and uncertainty. At this critical moment for democracy, our sector, and disciplines, we will explore what happens when we challenge traditional hierarchies and work together towards a stronger, more unified voice for the humanities and social sciences across the post-secondary landscape.

Through collaborative sessions, panels, and networking events, this is a rare opportunity to engage in candid dialogue, share perspectives, and drive meaningful change on crucial issues impacting the future of Canada.

Events and activities are complimentary for Summit invitees. If you are unable to attend, you may designate another senior leader to represent your institution.
